How it works

Au Pair program steps

Step 1

Find a host family

Look through an accredited agency or a specialized website. The family must sign an official au pair agreement.

Step 2

Obtaining a long-stay visa

For non-Europeans: student visa or "au pair" visa. Proof of enrollment from the school is required.

Step 3

Register at EIFE2F

Choose your package (3pm, 8pm…), we will provide you with the official certificate for the prefecture.

Step 4

Start the program

Courses adapted to your schedule (Tuesday/Thursday morning for example), with Wednesday free like French schools.

Program conditions

  • Être au pair à Lyon ou en région lyonnaise
  • Minimum 6h de cours par semaine
  • Présenter votre convention au pair
  • Tarif préférentiel sur présentation justificatif

From €280/month

A minimum of 15 hours of classes per week is required. Teaching materials are included.
